I spent four years studying for a Computer Science degree, I work in an IT-related area, and ever since my parents got an Acorn Archimedes A3000 when I was about five years old I’ve been interested in computers. (In fact prior to then, my Grandad had a BBC Micro, and as soon as I was capable of sitting in front of it I had started using it to type pages of nonsense text and print them on his dot matrix printer…).
So I have quite a long-standing relationship with computers, and while I’m not a subscriber to any PC magazines anymore, I do still enjoy keeping up-to-date and playing around with useful applications of technology. (Though, I’ve never really been one for computer games, and I think the last PC game I played in earnest was Theme Park in about 1996).
In this section I will occasionally post stuff related to computers, technology, and all things geek. If that sort of thing interests you, be sure to check out my geek blog.
